I have friends who live in S****horpe, just north of Lincoln, UK. Must they always be victimised by profanity filters?

I do hope they get around to fixing it.
For the record, the reason certain historical figures were originally added to the list was that the forum has a strict no-politics ban which certain people were flouting regularly in posts concerning those figures. I can see why they added them to the filter but it would have been better done as a short term measure and then removed.

That one is an urban legend. One of the details out of those you list is true but she wasn't driving and the cup was closed. She was burned by the paper.

I stand corrected...
Note that I'm not disputing whether burning yourself with coffee and getting a fortune in damages is over the top. But it's one of those stories that gets better every time it's told. I suffered burns over most of my legs from cocoa as a child. It was knocked over by someone else and all. Nobody got sued.

On the other hand making comments on sniffing a bunch of lines of coke isn't blocked in any way.
But meh messages like these should be moderated and not some filter since the word crack is used in a lot of different words, just as line and coke.
yeah as you said yourself - that's ridiculous because then you have to censor every single word that could be used any offensive sentance imagined. Where does it stop?
